Jesus’ prayer at the Last Supper was that Christians might be one, and yet we are terribly divided. In an incredible message to a gathering of American Pentecostals and Evangelicals, Pope Francis says that we are all “brothers” and that for too long “sin” and misunderstanding have divided us. He calls on God to bring about the miracle of Christian unity, and his message is received by the televangelist Kenneth Copeland. Watch the video here. The whole thing is worth watching but the Pope’s message starts at 31:50. Bishop Tony Palmer’s remarks begin at 4:00. Thanks to Fr. James Martin for the tip. P.S. Did you know that there are Catholic charismatics?
