St. Joseph's house

Joseph’s House is a hospice in Washington, D.C., for people who don’t have a home. Inspired by the words of Jesus, “I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me, naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me,” it was started in 1990, it’s a place where people with end-stage AIDS and cancer can come to receive food, shelter, medication and community.
