TCC Charity: Clothe Your Neighbor As Yourself

Posted in TCC Charity | Under , , , , |

In 2009, James Barnett, the founder of Clothe Your Neighbor As Yourself, sold all he had, quit his job and  traveled the country sleeping beside the poorest of the poor. He soon realized that his new friends could benefit from a decent pair of shoes and socks. So, he whipped up a shirt that said, “clothe your neighbor as yourself” and used the money to take his homeless friends shopping. One thing led to another and three years later, CYNY continues to give 100% of the profit of every item sold to provide clothing to someone in need. We like this tee. Buy one and a child in Kenya gets a uniform so that they can attend school. Check it out here: We Will Be the Light
