The world is ripe for change

TCC’s own Melissa Musick writes for The National Catholic Reporter about the fact that the largest “mental health care facilities” in the United States are prisons and jails. She writes, “Change might begin with priests and pastors and Stephen ministers and extraordinary ministers of holy Communion visiting their neighbors, friends and parishioners when they are ill with mental problems, just as they do when those same people have heart problems.” Read more here: The Mentally Ill Are Our Lepers.
