Rabbi Dalin thinks that Pope Pius XII should be declared Righteous among the Nations for his support of Jews during the Holocaust. Of course, most Catholics and Christians, including the Pope, did not do enough on behalf of the Jews during the Nazi occupation. Imagine if all Christians had been willing to risk their lives rather than be forced to collaborate with or fight on behalf of the Nazis. And yet, thousands of Jews were hidden in churches, convents, and homes.
