I watched the funeral Mass for Joe Biden’s son, on CNN and it was very moving. It’s struck me at the time that it’s the same liturgy whether you are someone of very little worldly importance, or the child of the Vice President of The United States. How Faith Can Affect Therapy

In a recent study, researchers found that patients with a belief in God seemed to get more out of therapy and other treatments for mental illness.  This may be because faith isn’t only about it’s object (i.e. there is a God), it’s also about the general orientation of your life.
