Pope Tawadros II, the head of the Coptic Orthodox Church of Egypt, met with Pope Francis at the Vatican yesterday. The two Popes stressed the need for Christian unity, ecumenical dialogue, and reconciliation. The increasing secterian violence against Coptic Christians in Egypt weighed heavily on both men.
