Andy Warhol

Pop art provocateur, Andy Warhol, was a Ruthenian rite Catholic who attended daily Mass and financed his nephew’s studies for the priesthood. Nevertheless, he kept this part of himself a secret. Warhol was a complex and multifaceted figure, on the one hand championing the sexual revolution of the 1960s, on the other, a celibate.
