Adoration

Today, Sunday June 2nd, the Feast of Corpus Christi, Pope Francis has asked Catholics around the world to join him in an hour of simultaneous Eucharistic Adoration at 5pm Rome time. The intentions for this hour of adoration are: first, for the obedience of the Church, that she may appear before the world as “beautiful, without spot or wrinkle, holy and without blemish,” and second, for victims of violence, drugs, human trafficking, economic insecurity and social marginalization. This is the first time all the Roman Catholic churches in the world will be united in prayer in this way.  If you have never participated in Eucharistic Adoration or if it has been a long time, you can learn more about this ancient practice from TCC’s own Anna Keating here: #40 How to Do Eucharistic Adoration
